ROAD COURSE CREW – MULTIPLE POSITIONS (2026 SEASON)

If you love road racing and want to work in the middle of the action, here’s your chance to join the team that makes the BIR experience happen.
Corner Workers
This position puts you closest to the action on track. You’ll be responsible for:
- Observe Racing From an assigned track corner station (most have shade)
- Display safety flags to communicate track conditions to drivers
- Report incidents (spins, crashes, debris, fluid, unsafe behavior) to Race Control
- Assist with clearing disabled vehicles or debris when directed
- Provide initial support until safety crews arrive
- Help ensure a safe and professional race environment
Ideal for: Strong attention to detail and situational awareness, ability to remain calm and focused, good communication skills, willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Cone Runners
Cone runners maintain the track layout and safety of the course. You’ll reset cones, watch for course violations, and communicate with event staff to keep drivers on a clean and consistent course.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reset cones quickly and safely after a vehicle passes
- Monitor assigned sections of the course for missed or displaced cones
- Signal or report penalties and course issues to Race Control or Grid
- Maintain a high level of awareness and safety around moving vehicles
- Assist with basic course setup or teardown when needed
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (ALL POSITIONS)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable standing/walking for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Weekend availability (May–September)
